2016 certainly has thrown down the gauntlet in terms of Metal releases. Despite us only just coming into the month of June so far we have had some absolutely astounding releases. From comebacks to phenomenal debuts, expansive work to avant garde madness this is a list chronicling just some of the newest releases this year. Since the band’s primeval state, first stretching their metaphorical muscles in the cosmos the band have become one of the premier league in Technical Death Metal. Once more returning to the path of totality with a renewed sense of identity we welcome the genesis of a new epoch, the age of Akroasis.
Edging closer to the release date of Obscura’s much anticipated brand new album Akroasis the band have debut a third track entitled “The Monist“.
Celebrating the fantastic year that was 2015 sadly it is time to usher in the new year. With a new year comes Metal head’s favourite treat, new albums.
