Norway’s premier Symphonic Metal heads return with a double DVD due April 14th. 

At long last breaking their silence Dimmu Borgir have announced that they will be releasing Forces Of The Northern Night the band’s latest double DVD effort. 

Featuring two performances, one in the band’s native Oslo where the group performed with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra and the other a performance at Wacken in 2012 where the band were joined by almost than 100 people on the stage. Though currently there haven’t been many details revealed, we are able to see the artwork for the DVD which is in keeping with the typical Dimmu Borgir style that we’re used to in the likes of Death Cult Armageddon era. 

No word on whether there might be new material as of yet but keep your ears and eyes open and we will keep you posted. 

Forces of The Northern Night is set for an April 14th release via Nuclear Blast.
