Rivers Of Nihil stake their claim to the Death Metal throne this year with their brand new album Monarchy. Ahead of its release later this month the band have premiered their music video for “Sand Baptism“. 

In a different vein from the first single “Perpetual Growth Machine” the song begins in a softer sense. Having told us that the album gets more and more progressive the deeper into the album you go and we’ve heard it, it definitely lives up to that statement. “Sand Baptism” is really where this sort of transformation begins. With band’s like Black Crown Initiate and Rivers of Nihil sprouting the Death Metal scene couldn’t be better right now.
