Previously announced that Pestilence are no more Patrick Mameli had announced that from the remains of his previous band a new band, going by the name of Necromorph would be born, however now he’s had to change the name of his new project after guitar player Ulf of Necromorph contacted Mameli asking if he would change the name of course being understanding and not wanting to steal their name he changed it immediately so now his new project is to be called Neuromorph. 

Although Pestilence are on permanent hold Neuromorph will be made up of various members of their history with the main man returning to his Steinberger instead of his newly used eight string beast.  Stating also that it will be more of a “death-jazz-fusion project” whilst having jazz style it will be similar to Pestilence  “But these riffs and songs will be more brutal than Pestilence but way different to Pestilence”
