It appears Five Finger Death Punch have wasted no time in preparing a follow up to last years double album ‘The Wrong Side of Heaven & The Righteous Side of Hell’.

Drummer Jeremy Spencer revealed that the band has already recorded four songs during an interview conducted by Artisan News about his autobiography.

Spencer said:

“We’re at the studio right now, and we’re recording some new material, and after we finish the tour with Volbeat, we’re gonna go back in and try to finish up everything in the winter and then get something out late spring early summer.”

“We’ve recorded four [songs so far]. I’m liking what I’m hearing, but there’s a long way to go, so there’s no… We haven’t, like, ‘Cool, these are four singles.’ It’s not… We’ll judge the body of work when it’s done.”

The band are certainly busy constantly touring, releasing autobiographies and now already thinking about new music. They certainly don’t look like they have any intention of slowing down. Expect an official announcement about the new album late this year.
