At long last the silence from The Faceless is indeed over.

Yesterday the band announced that they had indeed confirmed a show in Mexico which would feature a seventy minute performance complete with new material and now a day later the band have at long last released “The Spiraling Void“. With the various different members that the band have enlisted it seems that we are going through a line up reminiscent of the classic Planetary Duality as there seems to be the final piece of the puzzle that is previous singer Derek Rydquist returning on vocals.

The song itself picks up largely where Autotheism left off, similar production style but the previous cracks of experimentation seem to be breaking through. With the classic aids of The Faceless coming in the form of robot voices and dystopian melodies there are new introduction which I shall leave to you to find!

Not only have the band released a new song but have announced a lengthy North American tour, featuring support from Rings of Saturn, Toothgrinder and After The Burial. Which personally I am fairly surprised are going to be back out so quickly.

Though no word is currently available on when The Faceless’ new album tentatively titled In Becoming A Ghost will be released but I would imagine if not late November we might be looking at an early January release next year! Stay tuned.
