Celebrating their release of the brand new album Thy Art Is Murder have released yet another video for their title track “Holy War“.
Releasing their brand new album merely just days after the atrocious attacks in Tunisia it would seem that the message that “Holy War” portrays both as an album and song seems to be more apt than ever. Previously showing us the first example of their new breed the boys unveiled the video for “Light Bearer” their ode to the dark one. Now we see the band aim to take things on a more serious level.
Working in tandem with the fairly controversial artwork the song illustrates the wrongs that are done by religion and their idealised “Holy War” not to mention the song itself is a great track. It seems a fitting time more than any for people to become more aware of the current state of affairs affecting the entire world and not just one country. It’s also pretty full on and features various different states of terror in the world, with decapitated heads and water boarding it’s sure to be a controversial video to say the least. Nevertheless it’s message is pertinent. Check the video out and let us know what you think! You can also see our review of the brand new album here!
