The first of many, many YouTube videos over at TheMetalTris, I recorded my thoughts on the brand new Havok album, Conformicide.

Returning after Unnatural Selection, Havok resolved to come back stronger, harder and proggier? Well with the addition of bassist mastermind Nick Schendzielos to the band’s ranks there are some fantastic moments here on the band’s new LP. Out March 10th via Century Media, Conformicide is an absolutely brilliant ride from start to finish.  Rooting itself in politics of the modern day world, more specifically America, it recalls the classics of the era of Rust In Peace level Thrash. Yes, it’s seriously good.
