If you weren’t already excited enough from the bands announcement that Repentless will be hitting the shelves come September then this is sure to whet your appetite.

Slayer have released the artwork for the forthcoming record and I have to say I am in love with it! Epitomizing everything the band stand for along with giving a nod to their deep rooted first albums this is good work. With artist Marcelo Vasco being commissioned on the painting he has indeed worked his magic.

Not only that though, Kerry King announces that the bands self titled single “Repentless” will be released this Friday June 19th so get those ears ready. It is also an ode to Jeff Hanneman who tragically passed away. We await eagerly, I think it’s fair to say that this might be one of the better Slayer record to come out! Don’t say that to a Slayer fan though eh?
