Edging closer to the release date of Obscura’s much anticipated brand new album Akroasis the band have debut a third track entitled “The Monist“.

Owing the research done by the Metalsucks team where the track is premiering, The Monist is by definition the meaning of one. I would imagine that in the usual grandiose scale of things that Obscura’s would probably be talking about the creator all living things or perhaps a unifying principles that brings all living things together. Whatever the subject matter it is once again a brilliant example of just what to expect from the Tech-Death maestros this coming February. 

Building on the more experimental aspects of Omnivium the track is not as long as previous songs but packs just as much of a punch rhythmically as well as melodically.
