And announce a brand new album!
No longer a mere memory Iron Monkey have announced their signing to underground kingpin label Relapse Records and will be releasing a brand new record this year.
The first since their last release, in 1998 joining both classic members J. Rushby and S. Watson will be the new blood of S. Briggs. The band have already entered into Moot Studios up in Nottingham to record their new album with the help of Johnny A. Carter and will be eight tracks long with a cover song attached. The record will also be expected for a summer / autumn release.
The band comment :
“We’re older, more cynical, more isolationist. Musically, we’re more aggressive, more focused – a direct assault. We intend to take what is rightfully ours, usurp the scene, then crush its skull.”
