Slam afficionado’s will no doubt already know Ingested with their infamous records, containing the usual ingredients found in brutal death metal the band seem to be able to digest the best elements of the genre and really bring it to the fore. Now on album number four they are setting their return with The Architect Of Exntinction. Our first taster “The Divine Right Of Kings” gives a clear idea of where these boys have come from but also where they are heading.

Vocalist Jason Evans states :

“It took us three albums and two ep’s to find our sound, our identity as a band. This album is Ingested at its purest form, nihilistic slamming death metal. Every lyrics, every guitar riff and drum beat on this album is delivered with utter sincerity, we fucking mean it this time. This is the album that we have always wanted to create. This is The Architect Of Extinction.”

Enlisting the talents of Toshihiro Egawa to create the gruesome and morbid artwork, production duties were handed to Christian Donaldson of Cryptopsy fame. Sure to be one to watch out for in the new year!

The Architect Of Extinction is scheduled for a January 12th release via Century Media Records.
