What seems to be the problem with people today? Bad news is infiltrating the Metal community far too often, with the announcement that we lost Riverside guitarist Piotr Grudzinski and now this.

Whilst walking back from her car, Anette Olzon was beaten down and robbed by a junkie. Sustaining injuries by being physically knocked over the singer is now in hospital. Taking to Instagram she documents that whilst the entire ordeal was going on two men were simply doing nothing who were just feet away!

Luckily a girl intervened and she quotes “two REAL men” also intervened. However the silver lining in the story was that the mugger has been caught by the police and Olzon thank full didn’t sustain any major injuries. Particularly lucky as she fell with such force she hit her head square on the pavement.

We’re just glad another member of the Metal community is safe and sound.
