For Nuclear Blast‘s third post today Meshuggah have released a very well edited little teaser for their forthcoming DVD. The Ophidian Trek, will be either in a 2 Disc/ DVD Digipack format or a 2 Disc/ Blu-Ray Digipack  format as well. Directed by Anthony Dubois the band has a small teaser featuring excerpts of their skull shattering “Bleed“, “Minds Mirrors” etc… With from what I can see as being their performance at London’s Brixton Academy (which I attended last May and I can assure you, was one of the best gigs I have ever witnessed)  being one of the songs and a festival appearance on the teaser, this will be a well produced, well edited affair.

Polish death metallers are soon going to be assaulting our senses once more with the arrival of their new album Blood Mantra. After having released the excellently titled “The Blasphemous Psalm To The Dummy God Creation” earlier and having everyone unanimously agree over it being fantastic, we’ve now got some small snippets of new material. Out of the first four tracks we have “Exiled In Flesh” the aforemention “Dummy God Creation“, “Veins” and the albums title track “Blood Mantra“. I always find that with preview tracks its hard to really appreciate the music, especially something as often atonal as Decapitated.
