An Interview With: Billy Graziadei & Bobby Tambel (Biohazard)

Biohazard have spent the summer thus far absolutely dominating Europe, and proving that old flames still burn harder than ever before. Before their sublime London show, we caught up with guitarists Billy and Bobby to discuss a future album, and just what genre can we consider them now over their 27 years of musical progression…

Biohazard are what younger artists should be looking up to in today’s music scene, a band for the fans dominating on record and on stage. Putting out a fierce reunion record in ‘Reborn in Defiance’, we ask what makes the fire in the band keep burning, what kind of fuel fans the flames, and of course what can we expect for the next Biohazard record…

So we just have to ask what is Biohazard’s craziest UK touring moment?

There have been many bro, a lot of craziness…up and down, north to south! Donnington was a crazy time, there were some sick crazy shows. It’s the English that never cease to amaze me…there’s always something that tops some other story…

I think when we played our first sold-out UK show in Norwich, we had a bunch of problems with the equipment, and all of a sudden the crowd…we were getting more help on stage from the crowd than our friends in the opening bands. There was like 6 guys bringing equipment from their vans, bringing their cabinets and heads, and them setting up with all their friends – I was like this is what the scene is all about!

Not only was that a good rock ‘n’ roll story but that was just pretty fucking cool to have everybody pitch in just to make the show go on. The fans fixed the issue, and the show was great!

That’s amazing. You don’t really hear about that happening these days…

Yea it was really cool!
