Ne Obliviscaris Part Ways With Bassist

Sudden news from the Aussie camp has revealed that Ne Obliviscaris bassist Brendan Brown has decided to leave.

Somewhat out of the blue it has been announced that Brendan Brown will no longer be a part of the band essentially owing to artistic differences. What this really means remains to be seen but it doesn’t sound like the happiest of goodbyes i have to say.

The band issued the following statement regarding the split :

After much deliberation we have decided to part ways with our bassist, Brendan ‘Cygnus’ Brown due to irreconcilable personal differences. We know this will come as a shock to our fans. Brendan has been a big part of this band for many years, and it’s a decision that has not been taken lightly. We will still be moving forward with recording our new album in the first half of 2017 as planned, and are looking forward to getting back on the road to perform for you all later this year with a new bassist on board.”

Sounds like it will be an interesting year for the band. Why this decision has been taken might surface a little later on, either way it was good to have you Brown!
