Especially in this brand new video and brilliant song to boot!

The Mute Gods, formed of Nick Beggs, Roger King and Marco Minnemann will be marking their return with sophomore album …tardigrades will inheret the earth on February 24 via InsideOut and now the band have made their first single available to stream. 

Titled “We Can’t Carry On“, despite it being a simple lyric video the message behind the song couldn’t be more pertinent. Particularly with the striking imagery put forward and the harsh nature of the lyrics which discuss this new society we live in where freedom is policed and someone who is essentially an idiot is now in charge of one of the most powerful countries in the world! 

The track itself at first I wasn’t keen on but persevering with the song, as with progressive music reaches a beautiful crescendo near the grand finale reiterating Beggs‘ words.
