Previously we have seen some small updates from over at Michael Lessard‘s own Facebook account but we can now confirm that The Contortionist are in the studio. 

Posting a picture of drum tracking the band have indeed spilt the beans on their brand new album. Working once again with Jamie King, the man responsible behind the genius that was Language, which won the accolade for many as Album of The Year, the man is somewhat of a production wiz. It will be interesting to see what direction the band decide to go in, particularly as Language was a huge departure from their previous sound on Intrinsic.
