The French premier Metal festival have shown their hand and boy have they got a lot of bands this year. 

Known for its multitude of different bands from all walks of musical life, Hellfest is fast becoming a rival even to German über fest Wacken. With this year taking place from the 16th to the 18th of June the three Headline acts will be Deep Purple, Aerosmith and Linkin Park. 

But as ever with Hellfest, it’s not about the main bands. Sure, you can head out and see them if the mood strikes but where the true genius in the festival lies is the ability to go from genre to genre with a packed out bill too. These are just the names to be announced in the beginning and the festival will only announce more in the run up to the shows. Either way look over the glorious poster.
