One of the many joys of being part of the musical world is the ability to listen to all sorts or material out there. I thought it was high time that I compiled a monthly list of my top five tracks.

Hard to believe that it’s June already, being halfway through the year, the festivals have begun (see you soon Download) and the days are getting longer. Having already had our first wave of big releases for the first six months of the year, June has been reserved for some pretty big hitters. Primarily of the Death Metal genre this month’s picks are mostly as brutal whilst looking ahead atfuture releases in a more Prog oriented vein.

Always wanting to discover new music, with the likes of Spotify and even YouTube itself, there are more and more ways to discover amazing bands. Of course this is just small handful of what I’ve been listening to over the course of the month. There’s plenty more we can’t quite talk about just yet but keep your eyes peeled each month for my personal top five! Without further ado, get your apron on because June is about to get bloody!
