Album Review : Entombed A.D. – Dead Dawn

Wasting no time in returning to their next release after their rebirth with the slightly lacking Back To The Front, Entombed A.D. given the new identity after the departure of  guitarist Alex Hellid return once more to the grave with Dead Dawn. Whereas previous album ebbed and flowed with various sections enticing the ear whilst others left it slightly lacking Dead Dawn brings Entombed’s classic pioneering sound screaming into the modern day.

Album Review : Grave – Out Of Respect For The Dead

In the modern day it seems that the idea of paramount importance is to remain apparent. Bringing technicality to the fore with the aid of new age technology band’s these days just don’t quite have the same soul as blood soaked groups of yesterday. Never bending at the knee of the modern trends Grave have been slowly lowering themselves six feet under. With this their eleventh full length the band haven’t had their claws dulled in the least.

A Tech Fest Interview With : Carl and Vishal (Heart Of A Coward)

Poised to release their brand new album later this year Heart Of A Coward have been growing from strength to strength. With their previous release, the Danny Dyer loving Severance, reaching out to fans all over the world it has seen the band grow exponentially. At Tech Fest since it’s infancy the band have slowly been climbing up the musical food chain, leading to their absolutely incredible performance at Saturday’s headliner slot complete with an appearance of the Sweetness Owl! Before that however we were lucky enough to be able to speak to both the delightful Carl Ayers and Vishal Khetia about the new album, what it means to be head lining this year’s festival and how they have come to have such an extensive fanbase!
