Ah the days of summer, the ability to be confident that leaving the house with a (black) t-shirt is a good idea, the (black) ice creams shared and of course the abundance of (black?) sunshine. Though nothing says Summer quite like Bloodstock, attending our first ever festival last year we are incredibly excited to be getting back to real matters here. Knocking together a truly phenomenal line up this year we’ve got full performances of The Satanist, last ever performances, Space age Thrash and Mastodon to enjoy. We’ve picked ten out of the plethora of bands that will get any Metalhead moshing for good reason. Come with us through the rabbit hole and check out the ten bands that we think are unmissable at this year’s Bloodstock 2016!
As we near the month of August its the best time of year once again with the arrival of Bloodstock. For those perhaps not inclined to experience the full three days of the festival, or maybe you can’t get the time off work fear not as the Bloodstock 2016 day tickets have all been released.
Along with many more to come!
And you thought the line up was good already!
Not only having one of the best festival line ups in the UK this year already but Bloodstock seem intent on making it even better with the addition of even more new bands.
Slowly but surely inching closer to the festival season Bloodstock have announced three more bands already joining the brilliant line up.
Finishing up another fantastic line up we shall see the Thrash Legends headline at this year’s coming Bloodstock Festival.
The world’s premier Metal festival announces yet more bands to content with the already stellar line up.
If Twisted Sister and Mastodon wasn’t enough for you there are more bands being announced for this coming year’s Bloodstock.
A Metalist first for this year we were able to attend Bloodstock 2015 and what a fantastic time it was.
Though Bloodstock might be known far and wide for it’s incredible line up of already established bands it is also a fantastic platform for the lesser known British bands to really have a chance to be heard. Brighton born King Leviathan performed on one of the smaller stages Friday this year and received truly a heroes welcome. Having fought it out through and through the band finally got through the opportunity of a life time and performed at this year’s Bloodstock. Everyone, meet King Leviathan.
Kicking the year off in fantastic style Ensiferum released their brand new album One Man Army. Having toured all over since it’s release the band began to hit up the festival circuit leading us to a warm Sunday afternoon where the band would be performing at UK Bloodstock Festival. Before their fitting brutal slot at the festival, we were able to speak to drummer Janne about what the band had been up since the release of the new album, why there has mostly always been a progressive epic as the final track and what Ensiferum have their sights set on.
