The progressive rocker’s have finished work on their twelfth studio album entitled The Oblivion Particle.
Following on from 2013’s Brief Nocturnes the new album will be the latest chapter in the Spock’s Beard story. With album being the second appearance of both Ted Leonard on vocals and Jimmy Keegan on drums. Deciding that the band want to focus on the individual versatile talents of each member the album will be containing Banjolele, Electric Sitar’s and even a Mandolin…
Featuring a guest appearance from Kansas violinist David Ragsdale on final closer “Disappear” no doubt creating a sense of progressive resolution. Recorded at The Mouse House with Rich Mouser on production duties along with Alan Morse and John Boegehold.
Along with the announcement of the new album the band will be hitting the UK for a small five dates tour amidst their European run this autumn.
