Slipknot Tour Postponed As Corey Taylor Undergoes Surgery

Set to embark on their massive US tour with Marilyn Manson, Slipknot have had to postpone their run owing to vocalist Corey Taylor recovering from surgery.

Though the band are not suspending the entire tour, sadly the first two weeks will be post poned to another date as the singer has undergone spinal surgery. Not quite something you would recover from in a week Taylor has undergone the surgery and all is well save for the extra two weeks of rest required for the man.

Starting the tour on June 28th in Nashville the band will continue as planned afterwards. Information surrounding the rescheduled dates will follow soon.

Here is the statement the singer issued :

“Regretfully, I’m sending this to our fans to inform you that we will be postponing the first couple of weeks of our upcoming U.S tour. Unfortunately, I had to undergo an unplanned spinal surgery. I am recovering nicely, and all went well! I need a little recovery time before hitting the stage. We will start the summer tour in Nashville on June 28 and continue as previously scheduled. An update on the rescheduled dates will be available in the next few days. I hope you all understand and thanks for always having my back!”
