After having just finished the touring cycle behind Black Sabbath‘s comeback album 13, Ozzy Osbourne had begun to tease an image that was pixellated which in order for fans to uncover the as yet unseen artwork they would need to hastag #OzzyRules. In the end it was revealed to be a new greatest hits of sorts. If you’re an Ozzy fan its pretty much a dream come true. Entitled “Memoirs Of A Madman” the set contains a CD and a two disc DVD. On the CD Ozzy has compiled 17 tracks that cover pretty much his entire solo career, which are all available for the first time as well as the DVD which includes  classic music videos, unreleased rehearsals as well as interviews. As well as having the standard CD/DVD there are other editions which include 2LP set as well as a 2LP picture disc set, a must for any die hard Ozzy fan. Although an announcement of a new album would have been great, having the prince of darkness’ entire collection available with rarities ain’t bad.

Memoirs Of A Madman shall be released on October 7th via Epic Records/ Legacy Recordings.
