Announcing that the band will be releasing their brand new album Sorceress later this year, Opeth are fully back to it revealing that the band will be touring the US no doubt in support of the forthcoming album.
Leading up to their European performances the band will be hitting up various different locations in America and joining them will be none other than The Sword. Perhaps a little bit of an odd pairing but for those who have heard the band’s Warp Riders album it will come as no surprise and will actually be a pretty good fit. Not to mention a fantastic opportunity for the guys in The Sword!
The month long tour begins in Knotfest / Ozzfest on September 24th and will culminate one month later in Vancouver before the band head over to Europe. Having heard the snippet of new material the band aired I have every faith that this new album will be just as mind blowing as the last.
