Florida death metal gods have finally lifted the veil on Inked In Blood. Loudwire have had the privilege of streaming their killer new album Inked In Blood and after all the hype we can confirm that the wait was seriously worth it. Beginning as a Kickstarter campaign the band then realised that if they wanted to get the reach for the fans then it would be wise to get on the side of Relapse Records. After having raised $ 10.000 in just the one day it was clear that the metal world wanted Obituary back so much so that in the end total amounted to $60.000. Inked In Blood is quintessential Obituary, showcasing all different elements of their infamous discography whilst ensuring that the band retain their organic sound with a modern touch.

“After nearly five years since the last album, we could not be more excited about the release of “Inked In Blood” and to get it into the hands of our fans. We spent years creating these songs and really took our time with them once they were written to listen back to them, make changes “trim the fat” and to be sure we were happy with all aspects of each song which resulted in an album that has everything needed to make it a monster of a release.
