Earlier this year, we saw that a whole host of bands from Nuclear Blast will be releasing brand new material From thrash demigods Slayer to progressive metal pioneers Meshuggah, but one particular band that always bring out something exciting are Nile. With their last album 2012’s At The Gates Of The Sethu, being their highest selling yet, after an extensive tour schedule it seems that it is time to get back to it!

Although a fantastic album, Sethu’s one problem for me was the production. Song writing as with almost every Nile release was solid, yet it felt as though it lacked the much needed punch, oftne giving sections of the song less impact that it would need. However now the banda are tracking guitars for the brand new Nile album. I would imagine that we would be looking at a July release from the band, provided everything goes to plan.
