The New England Metal & Hardcore Festival is the home of some of the premiere metal acts of recent times. Having been around for years now, we have seen the likes of metal core classics endure its stages along with hardcore superstars and now we come to the final line up for yet another year!
Divided up over three days the festival, has arguably the strongest line up on Friday. Catering to the newer sounds of metal we see Between The Buried And Me headline and a band come out of retirement recently, The Red Chord. Along with Code Orange and Overcast a pretty eclectic line up of modern metal bands.
Moving to Saturday we see Thrash take over with Testament headlining not before it being warmed up nicely by the newly revived line up of Exodus and the classic thrash of Nuclear Assault. With Nails taking care of the power violence element along with lead musos Allegaeon along with the new line up of The Agonist proving to everyone what the status of the band is in since White-Gluz’s departure and new comers Rivers Of Nihil ensuring that all punters are crushed beyond belief.
Then Sunday seems to be the mainstream event, where goth troupe Motionless In White headline the third day along with For Today and a whole host of other less exciting bands it must be said. Bar all of this the festival looks set to be an interesting one indeed!
