As some of you may be aware Kataklysm will be making their return this year, though that is not the only thing the band will be doing with this new album…

Being the first band ever to release videos for each individual song from the upcoming record, we now have a taster of what to expect from Of Ghosts And Gods. Releasing the album’s first official single “Thy Serpents Tongue” contains all the hallmarks of a Kataklysm epic, though I have to say the intro riff definitely made me think of some sort of Slipknot vibe.

Though this is just one piece of the puzzle, the band are premiering a different track in the run up to their release of the new album which goes as follows :

July 31st : The World Is A Dying Insect

Definitely a smart marketing strategy and now that it has been laid out for us all to see, not as tedious as Slipknot’s slow release before the .5: The Gray Chapter, when nothing was announced left us all scratching our heads a little. Either way look out for this one!
