Announcing just this week that the band will be embarking on a tour with Between The Buried And Me and Enslaved the band now announce that they will indeed be releasing new material this year.

Making it in just at the last second the band have set the release for their fifth album The Direction Of Last Things to be November 13th. Previously releasing their last album the brilliant Habitual Levitations the band are now proud to announce their brand new effort. With singer beaming about the new album :

I don’t care how cheesy is to say; this is our best record yet! This is Intronaut at our most technical, brutal, catchy, and straight up fearless. I haven’t been this proud of an album since we recorded our first demo 10 years ago. We took a somewhat unusual approach and tracked most of it live over the course of four days, then handed it off to Devin Townsend to mix. The result is pure magic. Prepare your earholes for fornication” states Frontman Sacha Dunable on “The Direction Of Last Things”.
 

The album was also mixed by Devin Townsend which might make for an interesting combination. Either way November just got a lot better. More news when we get it!
