As many classic bands in rock, the power of three is the strongest. Take Rush for example, Geddy Lee, Alex Lifersson and drummer Neil Peart form one of the corner stones of prog rock. Now in a more extreme view point we have Behemoth. With singer Nergal, furious drummer Inferno and destructive bassist Orion. These three men have created some of the heaviest, forward thinking music in metal. And now another trio appears, in the shape of ZOAX guitarist Morgan Sinclair, Bastions vocalist Jamie Burn and Red Seas Fire drummer Jake Fogarty. To form My Project Ghost.
Although not quite at the magnitude of that of Behemoth and Rush, its early days! Releasing their brand new single “Cherish” produced by Periphery bass man Adam “Nolly” Getgood the band hit the ground running. Their own brand of post hardcore reminiscent of the late The Chariot. The energy felt throughout the video is tangible, similar to the raw rasp of Every Time I Die the band are delivering something new and interesting to the genre.
