The Fear Factory camp is never short of drama as they have decided to cancel their upcoming European tour.
With all sorts of Fear Factory related drama flying around longer than we care to remember, the latest development is that the band have decided to cancel their European tour for reasons that are brief but on the surface would seem straightforward. Read the band statement below:
“To our fans in Europe, The UK, and Ireland; We regretfully MUST postpone the tour until Summer 2015 in order to complete our forthcoming, and ninth, studio album. This is an important album for us, so we wish to complete it properly so that we release a great album for our fans. We will see you soon! Sincerely, Fear Factory.”
An important album? Will this be the one to save Fear Factory’s career? By the way the statement is phrased it would certainly seem that way. Regardless it is a shame for European fans that they will not be able to see Fear Factory close out the year, but there is no excuse now for the band to produce an underwhelming album!
