With their twenty fifth anniversary coming up Enslaved have decided to celebrate the milestone in phenomenal style! 

With many bands you would imagine that perhaps they might dip into the farther reaches of their discography with some select shows, not Enslaved. Deciding instead that on top of the band performing three shows there will be an entire festival. 

Kicking things off we see Thursday 16th of March the band perform a set with support at London’s Underworld after that Ivar Bjørnson and Einar Selvik will be performing at The Forge in the afternoon of Friday 17th March and in the evening will see set’s from Enslaved once again this time at The Dome. Finally Saturday will see everyone come together and will feature, deep breath… Enslaved, Skuggsjá, Wardruna, Kristian ‘Gaahl’ Espedal exhibition at London’s Shepherds Bush Empire. 

There will also be an appearance of Skuggsjá who have recently just been signed to Seson of Mist records and consist of the collaboration of Ivar and Einar and are expected to release their debut album next year.

Now THAT is a way to celebrate your anniversary! However among the celebrations the band will be part of the sixteenth Norwegian festival By Norse, though completely calling it their own have now gotten London By Norse. Which incidentally was founded by Ivar Bjørnson, we all know where you’ll be this March!
