Just when you thought they couldn’t get anymore extravagant.

It seems that the sky is the limit with Dream Theater’s ambitious new release The Astonishing. Having been released as the album itself, the band have since embarked upon a massive scale tour performing the record in its ostentatious entirety each night. Now the band have announced their latest plans, to make it into a book!

The book will be written by Peter Orullian, who must be a Dream Theater fan, currently there isn’t a release date for the novel save for the rough Spring tag, however you can preorder the book for $75.00. Which isn’t very cheap, for a book bare in mind… Promising limited and exclusive updates Orullian will be chronicling the books creation throughout his Twitter account.
