After announcing that Sonisphere was a no go this year we will be seeing hardly any hallowed metal festivals. Save for two, Download 2015 and Bloodstock 2015. Having released the news that their headliners were to be Slipknot,Muse and Aerosmith it seems this is set to be one of the most commercial festivals of the year.
Today we see the addition of twenty three more bands to the festival having already heard of the likes of Judas Priest, Five Finger Death Punch, A Day To Remember, Marilyn Manson, Enter Shikari, Black Veil Brides… Although there are some redeeming metal bands in the fore. The first appearance of Lamb Of God along with Faith No More performing will be an event in itself not to mention Muse are pegged to be one of the best live bands ever. This is all well and good, however this is a metal festival. It seems that this years focus is more hard rock oriented, we’re just wondering where this years Dying Fetus is!
