After having confirmed that Canadian deathcore outfit Despised Icon had called it a day, the band returned to European soil for a couple of one off dates on the Impericon tour earlier this year. Now they have announced that they will be returning to US and Canadian territories for a quaint four gig run. Moving from Montreal to Worcester the band will be resurrecting their slam breakdowns, although some of the best news comes in the form that The Red Chord will be joining the band on their final date of the tour. The Red Chord have confirmed that they have not been broken up but have simply just not been doing much, perhaps this could be the beginning of Gunface and co’s return. Fingers crossed it starts with a few shows, then a few more and perhaps even an album announcement. Bear in mind this is all my own speculation and the band have confirmed none of this! Either way this four date tour might just be a teaser of greater things to come from both bands, only time will tell.
