Doom legends Corrosion of Conformity have announced that they will be reuniting with an old flame when 2015 bends around the corner.
Drummer Reed Mullin has said that the band will bring their ex-vocalist / guitarist Pepper Keenan back to the band to record their new album and embark on a tour next year. Keenan was their longtime frontman from 1989-2006, and the band is excited they are bringing an icon back on board:
“Yeah, we’re getting together next year. We’re going to do an album and do some touring.”
“We’ve done this three-piece enough to where we want to do something different. That’s going to happen probably somewhere close to the beginning of the year. He has that band DOWN that does okay.”
No news on plans for the new album, although now we know that there is an official reunion and that the next album could be something very special!
