An Interview With : Brian Eschbach (The Black Dahlia Murder)

Beginning the year with the biggest of bangs The Black Dahlia Murder began their European tour in support of their 2015 effort Abysmal. Originally penned for a double residency at London’s Underworld the band were added onto the already brilliant line up fo Abbath’s debut show. Shortly before their performance we were able to speak to founding member alongside Trevor Strnad and Death Metal lunatic Brian Eschbach. With the recent news that long time guitarist Ryan Knight has departed the band we asked him how the guitarist elevated the band, what some of his favourite horror movies and bands of the current day, set to head out on their tour performing Unhallowed in its entirety this Spring the band are bigger than they ever have been. Things in The Black Dahlia Murder life are far from Abysmal.

An Interview With : Sven De Caluwe and Ken Bedene (Aborted)

Following the announcement on Friday that the band will be releasing their brand new album Retrogore this April 29th I was lucky enough to be able to sit down with Sven and Ken with a little bit of new guitarist Ian to discuss all things Aborted. Catching them at their appearance with Bloodbath in London last year celebrating their twentieth year together speaking about not only how the band have remained current in the Death Metal movement but how twenty years has seen the band exceed expectations right up until their brand new album where we are introduced to a new age of Aborted.

Celebrating the life of an underdog, Carnifex embarked on their triumphant Decade of Despair tour. Performing all over Europe the band devised a special anniversary set spanning their entire career from classic bangers to newer material. Being lucky enough to catch the band on their London date at The Underworld we spoke to the delightful Scott Lewis. Having always sensed that the band were the undisputed kings of Deathcore we delve into just how they have manage to get to where they are now in their ten year career and with the band set to enter the studio in spring this year, Lewis lets us in on what to expect from the brand new album set for a summer release this year.

A Second Interview With : Arnor and Toti (Agent Fresco)

Releasing their fantastic album Destrier last year we caught up with Agent Fresco on their UK tour to speak about just what a whirlwind year they have had. With a fantastic performance at Tech Fest back in July followed by their brand new album launch where the band performed Destrier in it’s entirety backed with a full orchestra. Now in 2016 where the band have begun the year as main support with Coheed and Cambria in a string of shows it seems that the sky’s the limit for Arnor the band’s singer and Toti the band’s guitarist. However the story of the record that has propelled the band further was not necessarily an easy one…
