One of the quintessential power metal bands, Blind Guardian have been at the forefront of the sword baring, dragon fighting scene since they first began. After not releasing any material since 2010’s At The Edge Of Time the silence has been broken, after announcing their fantastically epic sounding new album Beyond The Red Mirror the band have released the first taste of what the album will entail. Full of flashy solo’s and cool little harmonies “Twilight Of The Gods” along with a driving thrash riff and of course not forgetting the inhuman pipes of Hansi Kurch. Soaring like the proverbial eagle in the song’s chorus, whilst wailing in the verses.
Sure to be a grandiose affair the album promises to contain many different appearances, comprised of two orchestras and three choirs its sure to be one of Blind Guardian‘s most ambitious releases thus far. Continuing on the story from where Imaginations From The Other Side left off the album is sure to be a pleaser for old fans and something new and interesting for anyone not quite in the know!
