Previously the band teased a picture and date leading us to think that a new album would be imminent and as luck would have it we were right! They’ve even released a brand new song too! 

Announcing that the band will be releasing their brand new album January 13th of next year Black Anvil will return to the Black Metal arena to deliver yet another destructive dose in the form of As Was. Releasing single “May Her Wrath Be Just” the band begin their new promotional cycle for the record and so they pick up where they left off! 

Ensuring that every soundscape is as blackened as they come Black Anvil do more than just deliver with this new track making our anticipation  grow even stronger the Metallers are setting up the beginning of the year as it means to go on! 

As Was is set for a January 13th release via Relapse Records.
