As many no doubt are aware Between The Buried And Me are in the process of releasing their brand new album Coma Ecliptic. A concept album that truly is out of this world, with the concept being a man in a coma is able to change between past lives and various living planes. He has the ability to go forward but never back, so seeking a higher sense of enlightenment can forge forward but never return.

For those who want to find out more front man Tommy Rogers has spoken out, releasing a section of the Making Of the new album DVD the singer discusses in pretty big detail the entire story that surrounds Coma Ecliptic. Fantastic for those who are aching for some insight into the band’s new work however if you don’t want your experience of Coma Ecliptic to be spoonfed then I would recommend that you don’t watch it! Though I have to admit it is a fantastic way to build excitement for the new record. Having listened to the band myself since the Selkies era Alaska, it is truly remarkable how far the band have come both musically and conceptually. Look out for this one.
