After finding out that the new Between The Buried And Me record will be potentially their most ambitious yet. The band are not just happy with wowing the world over sonically. They are now bringing their brand of progressive metal to the masses in the US with a line up comprising of some of metal’s most promising acts.
Running throughout July through to August beginning on the day of release of their brand new album Coma Ecliptic (07/07/2015) the band will be trekking all over the states. With support coming from aspiring progressive metallers The Contortionist who released one of last years most celebrated albums along with the gifted Animals As Leaders. A band that slot in perfectly with the BTBAM sound. With yours truly having seen them support BTBAM at an Underworld show a couple of years back, the band are the perfect segue into the progressive concept madness of North Carolina’s finest.
Arguably being one of the biggest tours the band have undertaken, an absolutely stellar line up that will hopefully get everyone’s head’s turning. We can’t wait until the release of Coma Ecliptic, the story essentially about the wanderings of a man in a coma progressing through various plains, with the option to reside there or continue onward in search of something more perfect. True Prog genius!
