The fathers of melodic death metal are making their return, after nineteen years of silence At The Gates will return with their new album At War With Reality and now they have released a teaser for the album. With almost a minutes worth of brand new music, which isn’t exactly very much we can get a feel that it will be exactly as we predicted. Classic At The Gates sound with that fantastic catchy riffing but with an updated production to make things a little bit more interesting and also ensure that Slaughter Of The Soul II doesn’t occur. Sure I’m sure that the metal world would welcome it with open arms but surely it would be even better if we saw an evolved sound that understands that the past is the past and this is the new age of At The Gates.
