For those who might not be British Radio listeners some may have missed out on the world exclusive first play of the brand new Anthrax track “Breathing Lightning”.
Premiered on the Radio One Rockshow, after conducting a short interview with Anthrax axe master Scott Ian, the DJ at long last spun the record. After having seen the band perform their fantastic show with Slayer at the end of last year I could not recommend listening to their brand new track more. Containing some real stadium rock sections the new track is, whilst experimenting with new territory quintessential Anthrax.
If you only want to hear the track skip to about the four minute mark after the interview with Scott Ian. Not to mention there is a fantastic performance by our resident singer Joey Belladonna. A definite good start to the year.
