Birmingham’s darkest duo are back at it again, after having released the critically acclaimed Vanitas in 2012 Anaal Nathrakh are back with Desideratum. The album will feature 11 tracks of which “Idol” has been delegated as single for their upcoming release.

Very much still in the same style that Anaal Nathrakh are known for, elements of black metal riffing with industrial sounding beats as well as the distorted vocals. Giving their sound a well rounded feeling with memorable choruses and a solo with a frosty touch, could there be any more black metal?  If this song is an example of things to come then Desideratum will be a very good album indeed.
