Electro metallers Amaranthe release a new lyric video from their upcoming album ‘Massive Addictive’.

The track is called, ‘Trinity‘, and does seem to continue where the band left off upon the release of their first video from the new album ‘Drop Dead Cynical‘ in descending into the pop metal genre. The track itself is catchy but just feels a bit disappointing that Amaranthe are taking their musical direction more into the center of a venn diagram that reads ABBA and metal, and drifting away from that sharp metal edge they kicked their career off with. Still too early to judge the entirety of the album yet though!

‘Massive Addictive‘ comes out October 21st, until then stream the new lyric video below:
