A day after announcing a tour with The Black Dahlia Murder and Suicide Silence, Alterbeast have announced that they are splitting with their vocalist at the end of this month.

“Unfortunately our singer Cameron will be stepping down from vocal duties at the end of August, we are sad to see him go, but we will be forever grateful for his contributions to this band and cant wait to see what cool and amazing stuff he does next! We hope you will roll out to Cameron’s last show w/ Origin, King Parrot, Beyond Creation and more Friday, Aug. 29th in South Lake Tahoe and send him off in DM fashion!

“Our good friend Monte Barnard (The Antioch Synopsis, Soma Ras) will be stepping up to fill Cam’s shoes, and let us tell ya, this guy is a fucking unstoppable killing machine! He is the real deal. One of the best frontmen we have ever seen, with a vocal range that is unmatched by most. We really lucked out in gaining this most welcomed member to the Alterbeast family. Odd timing for this announcement but it seems they already have the future sorted out!
