The symphonic metal maestro has done it again, providing yet another grandiose listening experience in 2015. Let’s all take a moment to clap hands for Luca Turilli’s opus, ‘Promethus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus‘.
Luca Turilli – Promethus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus
Luca Turilli is a man with such dedication to his music that every note of his intricate pieces is handcrafted by the man himself. Yes that includes each note of the underlying symphonies that provide the backdrop to his grandiose vision.
This year Turilli releases a sophomore album under his Rhapsody moniker, and proven that his songwriting touch has not faded in the slightest with ‘Prometheus, Symphonia Ignis Divinus‘. In fact the album might just be his finest work to date.
‘Prometheus‘ is well thought out symphonic metal, and there are more moments than not where the bombastic choruses and neo-classical shredding will blow you away. An album extremely worthy of the 2015 album of the year shortlist.
