Following the terrible events that have befallen the band, they have decided to cancel their upcoming tour with Summer Slaughter.

Last Wednesday we lost yet another brother from the Metal scene. After a particularly public bout of paranoia, guitarist Justin Lowe had gone A.W.O.L. with no one seeing or hearing anything from the man, until Lowe’s body was found days later. Understandably After The Burial have announced that they will not be performing at this years Summer Slaughter Tour and will also not be touring.

In the wake of our loss, it comes with heavy hearts to inform everyone that we have decided not to perform on this years Summer Slaughter tour. The recent events have been unimaginably heartbreaking, and Justin’s passing is something that each of us needs time with our families and friends to recover from.

Justin Lowe’s story may have a sad ending, but the legacy he leaves us is one that should do nothing but inspire.

From the bottom of our hearts, we’d like to thank everyone who has reached out in support and with kind words for him, his family, and us. It has been truly amazing to see all the people whose live’s he impacted in a positive way.

Truly heartbreaking news and people all over the metal community have been offering their continued support. We extend ATB and all of Lowe’s friends and family our deepest condolences and urge everyone to blast some After The Burial in the guitarist’s honour today!
